Cameo: Classic and Elegant

Here are a couple of snapshots of some beautiful fondant cookies that were made for a bridal shower (not my own shower). I am quite happy with how they turned out, despite the early difficulties I had. My favourite thing about this job was the fact that I got to buy and test out this awesome product - metallic silver cake spray paint! The colours I was asked to use were purple and silver, these are what I came up with. These cookies are classic and elegant - great for the girly girl in you! (Boys too!) Along with our beautiful cupcakes, we made the favours to be given out a the party, complete with custom favour tags! They are simple, but sweet and oh so cute! They are our classic sugar cookie, with homemade fondant and edible wafer paper!

No need to scratch your head or be boggled by these cookies! These sugar cookies are positively puzzling! For a gift, these cookies are decorated with royal icing and cute animal valentine's day edible wafer paper. To make things more fun, the cookies are in the shape of puzzle pieces so you can mix and match! These cookies are the perfect excuse to play with your food!

Happy New Years dessert deputies from everyone here at Goodies 2 Choose! I hope you all had a relaxing holiday and a wonderful Christmas filled with family, friends and of course lots of yummy things to eat!

As you can imagine, as a full-time university student, exams took up a lot of time! But don't fret, there was plenty of time for baking after the madness. Unfortunately I didn't get a chance to take pictures of the eight different kinds of cookies, cakes and trifles that were made.

Wedding Season is upon Us!

The weather is great, the flowers are in bloom and love is in the air! Ahh, don't you just love weddings? (Perhaps not if you're the one getting married, so much planning and stress!) Well after all I do's are said and done, take a load off and bite into these dainty dessert sugar cookies. Not only are they breath taking, but they are made with the finest ingredients: sugar, spice and all things nice, not to mention edible pearls and diamonds! Ooo lala!!
